Gah, Chapter 19! I knew that was coming from the teaser you posted earlier. I read all of 'You Had Me At Loki' pretty much in one sitting (a couple nights ago), except for the newest chapter. I love it so much. One of the first fanfics to actually make me tear up and feel the heartache. I can't wait for the next update. Is it closed to being finished, do you think there will be a sequel?

Yay! Not that I have anything against BDSM, of course. It just turns turn me off. And if there's pain involved, I have to stop reading. The combination of pain and sex reads like abuse to me, even when that totally isn't the author's intention.

WHAT?! I used to not like it, but I guess after seeing/reading so much, it grew on me.
It's had the opposite effect on me. At first I was curious about it, but the more I read, the less I enjoy it.
You shouldn't feel insecure about your writing at all. I'm on your blog every day to see if you've written something new, or if something of yours has been updated. You are truly one of my favorite writers here on tumblr. I'm sure your followers can back me up on this as well. *hugs*

Man. That recent update of Convoluted actually hurt, but in a good way. Amazing writing as usual. I'm just curious to see as to what Thomas will do in the next chapter.
Thank you so so much darling, I’m glad you are enjoying the story despite the painful subject matter. I think that’s one of the hardest chapters I’ve ever had to write. Even editing it made me cry. It’s particularly hard for me because honestly I always tell myself I’d never let someone do shit like that to me. And I think we all say that and believe it. However, I really wanted to try and figure out why somebody would stay, would take it. And the more I delve into the character of Jess and her motivations and her mentality and her reasons for staying with Thomas, I can understand her more and more and that is kind of terrifying.
Without giving anything away, I will say the plot just gets more (for lack of a better word) convoluted as we get further into the story, and the next chapter Jessica does something I think nobody will really expect. Thank you so much for reading, darling :) *hugs you extra tightly*
I also wanted to say that I am really enjoying Convoluted. There's so much drama and angst and even though there is a lot of trigger warnings, it's great so far. I'm really tempted to see how the next chapters fold out.

I do think that if anyone can get through Loki and Cecilie, Convoluted's violence isn't that much worse. There's more of it but I think the scenes where Loki rapes Sesilida in L&C are much more disturbing. Although I didn't do much for warnings on that one and nobody ever once complained (except that redeemed Loki was too fluffy, but not about the rape scenes oddly enough). I guess because it's Loki? But that's part of the reason I made it like AU though, so it's Tom, but not really Tom. Thomas looks like Tom and has a similar background and is an actor, etc, but it's not Tom Hiddleston.
