Hey everyone. My name is Lucius. I’m a trans artist and a first-gen Chinese student immigrant in the UK - and I’m at risk of being deported.

As some of you may know (from keeping up with me on twitter) - I’ve recently had to leave the UK (where I’m living) as the university hosting me completely messed up my visa and have withdrawn me from their course altogether.

Though I’m now back temporarily on a tourist visa, I will shortly have to fly back to China again to apply for a new student visa at a new university starting January so that I can stay for one final year in the UK before I can apply for leave to remain. My partner (whom I live with) has recently undergone major surgery, so I am unable to wait the standard amount of time for the visa to be processed in China as I need to be home to care for her (and help with the cats).

To fast-track the student visa process to 5 days would cost £560 - and this is already on top of massive flight fees to and back from China, and tuition for the new university I’m applying to (whilst still awaiting refund of the tuition fees from the uni I’m with right now). I really need this issue resolved as soon as possible, as I would ideally like to be back for my graduation and spend christmas in the UK with my friends and family here; but the the truth is that this entire process has been incredibly draining emotionally and financially and I don’t know how I will be able to afford to do this without your help.
