I don’t think I’ve ever been quire so utterly done in my life. Skipping the Dead Dog on grounds of exhaustion headache. I actually gave my last two fucks this morning in order to get up at 7am and put makeup on, so I’ve had no fucks all day.

Sales were good enough. I’m starting to get some traction within fandom. There were people who remembered me from Texas 2 years ago, and others that I’ve talked to at various local conventions or online. I met a-crow-girl, who is a lovely person and a pretty awesome mixed-media artist. I went to some parties and drank some booze (I got my dose of Finnish pine-tar schnapps, which sounds like it would be awful, but is weirdly...not).

I inhaled my share of smoke particulates, too. On the way into the Masquerade on Friday, there was actual visible ash falling out of the sky. I’m glad Saturday cleared out. I got to go on the 100+ yr old carousel they have in the park here. I love the old ones so much. The horses are prettier and they spin faster. I have a lot of photos and some video of it.

I’m looking forward to mostly not leaving the house for 3 days
