A tumblr user contacted me today to inquire about good sources of information about smoke divination.

I’ll be honest, I don’t know much of anything about smoke divination but I’ve been trying to kinda read my incense smoke when I have some lit. I’ve mostly been just kinda using my intuition when reading it, but today, while looking for answers in my love life, I had a very...interesting moment.

I was watching the smoke almost chaotic zig-zag for a little while, suddenly straighten up, and then literally make a loop, which immediately caused the phrase “throw me for a loop” to pop in my head and then the smoke straightened back out.

Would it be safe to assume that my love life is going to be fairly hectic, then level out only to end up surprising me?

(Won’t lie, it would be nice to have someone more experienced give me their thoughts)

Readings Are Open

So today is the beginning of a very long break from work. I work in retail, so hours tend to get cut this time of year. I'm barely making enough to pay my bills, let alone food and gas. So I'm opening up readings!

My readings are pretty cheap, and I could really use the money/practice. So if anyone wants a reading, just head on into my ask and tell which thing you want and a question you want answered (or just a general reading, but those are a bit broader and usually less detailed). 

I'll also be adding more spreads to the option list in the top right corner of my blog, and pricing them according to time and energy spent on the reading. The bigger the spread, the more it will cost, ya feel? If you have any questions regarding a reading, feel free to ask. If you have question about a reading you specifically received, be sure to ask within a few hours (up to five is where I'm cutting it) otherwise I'll forget about it and won't be able to answer. 

The Rules

I will not do readings involving an unknowing third party. I don't feel comfortable doing it and I doubt I'd be able to get an accurate reading on them anyway. Keep that in mind. If you want to know if some dude in your class has a crush on you, the cards can't help you. However, I am pretty good at giving advice and that's free. So if you aren't sure if the person counts as a third party, go ahead and ask. I'll let you know and we'll go from there.

Love readings are permitted in a more vague is-someone-going-to-walk-into-your-life-soon way. If you want to know if your next date will go well, I don't have a problem with reading into it. If you want to know if you husband is cheating on you? That might be something you bring up in marriage counseling, not a tarot or smoke reading.

Please keep in mind, divination is not a sure fire way of predicting the future and you should look at your readings as guidance or advice. A different perspective to consider. 

You don't have to be following me. These readings are open to the public.

Be polite. I will not tolerate someone who is blatantly rude or disrespectful to me and I will turn you away for future readings. 

Please don't use fanmail to send in your requests. This is just a personal preference. I understand some people will do this to make sure they're answered privately, but I won't be posting anything public unless it's anon or if I'm given consent to post. If you are answered publicly, I will tag it as 'readings' to make it easier to find.

Divination Update

So, since I have internet for a few hours, I figured now would be a good time to post this.

Smoke divination will now be a regular option along with tarot readings. However, they will not be free. I'll still try and make them affordable, though. The only reason I have for this (aside from me really needing the cash) is that I actually have to burn things up to do the readings. It's not a one time buy, like with tarot.

So here's the going rate of things:

Tarot readings: free

Smoke divination: $1.00

Am I going to get the romance I've wanted anytime soon?

I see a pretty steady, even flow of life for you. That leads me to believe that there isn’t any life altering change coming your way too soon. I’m pretty sure romance falls under the life-altering category. Unless you have some casual arrangement with someone. Nothing wrong with that. Just a bit of caution is advised. Don’t go rushing into relationships just because you want to find that special someone. o3o

Can your smoke divination tell me if I should self-publish or go the traditional publishing route with my novella?

It seems to be leaning more towards the traditional route. Self publishing can be expensive. Finding someone else, however less demanding of money, can be incredibly frustrating. It all seems to boil down to which you would prefer to put up with. Do keep in mind, though, that many famous authors were rejected numerous times before getting where they are today. So don’t let twenty rejections get you down. Keep at it. Save up money on the side, though. Just incase you get a bit too tiered of publishers saying “thanks but no.”

May I have a smoke reading please? Can I expect a relationship with the guy who recently entered my life?

I’m getting better at this, if I do say so myself. This was surprisingly clear. There does seem to be some kind of relationship for you down the road. Since this is a third party here, it’s hard to tell if he’s that one you’ll bee seeing, but given the context of the reading I can’t see anything that says otherwise.
