PLAYLIST 09/29/16
Woops. So, I’ve been really bad at updating my radio show blog so here it is now! Tonight marks my 10th show of this fall quarter and I will be having a special guest so tune in ;) Here is the playlist from the very first show this past quarter (09/29/16). Spotify recently released my most played tracks of 2016 and the first song on this playlist is in the top 5 most played (accurate). The show still follows the same format, which means it is random. That’s my brain on music! I hope you enjoy! I will post one more playlist today and the rest spread out throughout the upcoming days to avoid spamming you all. Body Language just came out with a new album Mythos in early November and it is definitely one to check out - highly recommend the track “Addicted.”
This is off their newest album that came out this past summer. If you are digging the sounds of 60′s psychedillia, pop, and garage rock then this album is for you.
If you have tuned into my show before you may know that my heart lays in electronic music. When artists are able to explore and implement music from all over the world into the full production it’s incredible. Nicola Cruz is one of my favorite discoveries of the year and he reminds me quite a bit of Nicolas Jaar - a huge compliment. He is able to bring forward latin music, electronic music, and a unique sense of experimentation. Highly recommend this one! Nicola Cruz - Colibria
