I’ve never watched Heathers but there are some lines from “dead girl walking reprise” and “I am damaged” that scream 2doc to me “I wish your mom had been a little stronger. I wish she stayed around a little longer. I wish your dad were good! I wish grown-ups understood! I wish we'd met before they convinced you life is war! I wish you'd come with me” “I am damaged, far too damaged, But you're not beyond repair” “Hope you'll miss me. Wish you'd kiss me Then you'd know I worship you.”
Honestly I never watched Heathers either (not even really sure what it is tbh lol) but you are not kidding that those lines feel so 2doc!!
“I wish we met before they convinced you life is war” is really a wonderful line, and I picture Stu murmuring that on one of those nights that Murdoc gets high and opens up to him about his past :’(
And any dynamic that discusses ‘worship’ just instantly makes me think “Murdoc is God.”
