A warm greenleaf brought a promise of hope and peace to the Fjords Clans, although not all shared such a happy outlook on the future.
A young Shadowclan warrior, Yewsnap, was eyeing a plentiful Guarden that was discovered near the Windclan border. It was no secret that when the last blanket of snow melts, the two neighbors would want this plentiful territory for themselfs. A cascade of rumors and whispers flooded the two clans, cats silently wondering about who will strike first.
And Yewsnap would have to make sure her clan would land a killing blow. ------------------------------------------ An almost literal last hour submission for the @harriertail's cover contest! This cover is a reflection by the events of The Starless Fjords rp, and depicts an interaction between my murderous baby Yewsnap, and the current Shadowclan deputy Smolderingstep, whom Yew desperately tries to convince to take the Guarden by force. In terms of visual inspiration, I wanted to combine the stricking colors and composition of the polish covers, and combine them with leather-bound book look that the russian covers have. Suffice it to say, I am very proud of this one!
