Sculpted and cast these pigeons for fun and to be set decoration in my film.
So, the original sculpt is definitely worse for wear (totally expected), and so far I’ve used 5 million gallons of silicone, but I made it over the initial moldmaking hurdle! One or more of these could still end up being bad, but I can use them as waste molds at the very least. Hopefully I’ll have some resin casts to show off soon!

its coming together!
they're all Milliput sculpted, then cast in silicone and then resin
Then they're painted on a sprue made of a scrap piece of wood!
Cast from my original sculpt, I have recreated a truly sci fi iconic Skaros villain as a wearable silicone mask. Can be ordered with his famous light up eye as an optional extra for added realism.
The mask is hand cast using industry-standard PlatsilGel 0020 which has an incredibly flesh-like feel. He is fully reinforced with my MagicMesh system for ultimate strength and durability.
I cast him in translucent pre-coloured silicone and I then hand-paint him with translucent silicone paints to enhance the detailing and texture.
Yyyyyaaaaa supplies finally arrived!!! Can’t wait til the weekend. Hopefully I’ll be able to make small samples before then.
