I'm out of luck because when I go to the organic shop today, it is closed, and up until Tuesday at that, because the square it is located on has been inhabited by a funfair. You know, those travelling amusement parks? There are trampolines, a merry-go-round, and all kinds of rides. The traditional plastic-duck-fishing and shoot-the-balloons stalls are there, of course, as well as the haunted house one.
But there is a consolation prize as well. The stall that sells the Flemish 'smoutebollen', deep-fried dough balls that traditionally aren't vegan, but very often are these days.
So at least I had a delicious treat today.
