The death pissed him off, especially since it didn’t have to happen. Esmeralde abandoned him just so she could have her position closer to Prince Demando. What disgusting things women do just to get to men who were never even interested in them.
“Another chance…” he ran his fingers through his hair, that was apparently the case but why? “I was a General in Nemesis, the Prince’s highest officer. Only child to Amethyst and Zircon…there are hazy bits but…I dunno,” his hand landed on the back of his neck as he answered her. “I feel like I’m in some kinda loop or somethin…it doesn’t feel right.”
