To my brother Zul, We’ve known each other for what, over 2 decades now and we’ve had our share of ups and downs together. 😌 From our time in St. Margaret’s, to my brief time in SMSA and later, the UK where we went our separate paths. Mine took me to York and yours took you to Bristol if I recall correctly. We came back and got our respective jobs and despite the difference in schedules, we somehow always managed to keep it tight. 😂 Being at your wedding ceremony today, I couldn’t help but smile and feel proud for you. Despite setbacks and challenges, you’ve risen to the occasion and you’ve made it work. You’re an inspiration, you know that and I’m proud to have you one of my best friends. 😁 Here’s to you bro. You deserve all the happiness in the world and I’m glad that you’ve met your match with @pongsteeeer. May it be a blessed and wonderful adventure for the both of you. In the off chance that this comes off as being sappy and out of character, allow me to apologize beforehand before I compose this short essay on one particular friend that I’ve known for the majority of my life. 😅 A quote which summarizes a friendship over 2 decades (and hopefully for many more years to come): ‘As your friend, I’ll always be there to pick you up after when you fall....after I finish laughing.’ 😛 Jokes aside: we’ve laughed, we’ve argued, we’ve studied, we’ve fought, we’ve had our fair share of happiness and sorrows together and most importantly, without a need to form words, we’ve always had each other’s back. Like a brother just not related by blood.!😌 Today, with a huge smile on my face I get to see you take the next step forward in life and from the bottom of my heart, I want to wish you and the person who will now have to deal with your antics (just kidding) congratulations! 😄 @pongsteeeer, the guy can be a bit of a handful but you probably already know this but @zul_hilme does have a heart of gold (Don’t get used to the compliments bub). Its almost hard to believe that its been a decade since I’ve graduated from this place. From kindergarten, all the way to Form 5, (That’s year 11 for you kiddos out there) a lot of fond memories were made in this school. 😌 And while the infrastructure has changed over the years, teachers have come and gone; recollections of the good old days still linger whenever I step onto the school grounds even after all these years. 🙂 Call me nostalgic but lifelong friendships were made and the knowledge and skills gained from my time at St. Margaret’s prepared me for what lied ahead in the future. As I sat watching both bride and groom take their place as the king and queen of the day, I couldn't help but smile and reminisce about the good times we've had as part of the St. Margaret's group. Its amazing how from the time we were kids till now, we are still able to share precious moments like these. As @afiqmohammed said earlier today, we're like a second family. A dysfunctional one albeit an incredible family bonded together through thick and thin. 😁 Congratulations to one of my oldest and dearest friend @niezazri on your glorious day. We've known each other for decades now and taking into account that we're only in our mid 20's, that says a lot. 😂 From studying together, pulling pranks, making lame jokes, stealing each others food (you more than myself) we've honestly done a lot together. It has honestly been an amazing ride.
