What to do with bad energy

Negative energy is unfortunately all around us. It sticks to your clothes, to your hair, to your room. Everyone brings about negative energy at some point, but generally, it’s something you are exposed to during your day to day routine. Most recently I experienced bad vibes and negative energy at the car dealership. There was heaps of good energy there, too, but the negative energy from the service rep clung to me for *hours.* I was able to get rid of it, but it definitely put a bit of a damper on my afternoon.

Whether you think your energy is off, or it’s the energy in your space, there’s some pretty simple ways to rid yourself of negative energy.

They include:

Smudging yourself and your space. Literally. Light up your junipor or even incense and smudge the hell out of yourself. Then, your space.

Rearrange your space. Sometimes the negative energy has clung to our space and needs to be dispersed. Or you just set up your room with some negative juju. Either way, rearrange. 

Lastly - put on some good music. Music is a powerful thing and can help cleanse both you and your space of negative vibes.

You already be making adult decisions in there or maybe just karaoke but this can be a great time to take a #mindfulminute! As you soap yourself, repeat the following mantra- “I cleanse myself so I may feel light, peaceful and at ease.” Keep repeating this mantra as you scrub your body all over. Alternatively you can also just say "I am the shit" or "mama ain't raise no hoe" shoutout to @2chainz As you rinse off the soap, imagine all of the negative energy or energy that is no longer yours to keep going down the drain. Next, take your hand and make a flicking motion around the entire outside of your body, cleansing away any final lingering energy. Stand under the water one more time, close your eyes and visualize the water forming a protective golden white light all around your body.
