18. Most traumatic experience

The death of my grandmother. I wasn’t with her when she was taken to the hospital, but I was fortunate enough to see her before she died (she lives in Ireland, where my dad was born and grew up before immigrating to marry my American mother). I feel her death did change me. It did affect the man I’ve become. Hopefully, it has made me stronger.

20. What I hate most about myself

I want to be a gentleman, I want to be a pacifist, but there is such anger in me that I’m afraid that this anger says more about me than the ideals I strive to live by.

21. What I love most about myself.

I would rather die than betray my friends.
