Soooooooooooooooooo I feel like it's about time for me to ask about DISTRUST again, but I don't have any questions :/ Will you have free time over the winter?

i really hope so...................wednesday is my last school thing, and after that i’m considering having some time off work, possibly? and i know if i try streaming my progress that’ll give me a kick to finishing it, having people watch always do.

the good thing is, finishing all the background assets for the next chapter means all i really have to do is script out updates (and occasionally draw new sprites) which takes significantly less time. so! i would still be able to update! it’s just! getting! it done!!!!!!!!!!!

So, before you ran out of time to work on it, how far did you get on the execution?

i didn’t even start...............

i don’t have any excuse..........besides that animating is terrifying...

K-1, if you had the chance to get murdered again, knowing what you do now, what would you do differently (aside from not die)?

That’s..........extremely unfair.

First of all, it’s hard to say what K-1 would know. He was just going along, drinking a soda, and then suddenly he’s losing consciousness and bleeding out the mouth and finding it hard to move. In his last moments, he would have probably realized he was poisoned, so, if somehow we turned back time and he kept this knowledge, the first thing he would probably do is...not drink the soda? And then go off and tell everybody to...also not drink the soda? And then after that, who even knows what would happen.

Really, though, the poison’s not a bad way to die. It’s actually painless. Though that’s because it paralyzes your nerves so you can’t feel it absolutely wrecking your body. 10/10, would be murdered by it again.

Katashi-kun, if you had to choose JUST ONE, what would you say is your best trait?

Considering how he feels about the human populace in general, he’d say his best trait is that he at the very least bothers to put in the minimum amount of effort into the things he does. Unlike all those other lazy idiots who can’t even take care of themselves, or just get lucky and ride on their talents, thinking it’ll keep them through their entire life.

He would probably be a pain to live with since he’ll do all the dishes and clean the house regularly and buy groceries and take out the trash unprompted, but will still rail on you for ‘not doing your part’ and ‘you could try to think about doing something around here.’

Any romantic relationship he might have would be over pretty quickly.

The ID card doesn’t list a talent at all. Tomiko is just a normal, average, non-talented girl.

RE: Free Will and Predestination: Why is the universe in which Alternate Future Dave got himself prototyped the official universe? Why didn't the other one count? I would really like to see your thoughts about will and predestination coexisting, if they even do, but you keep on dropping the subject almost immediately after you bring it up. :<

Alright, sounds like a plan then. I guess it HAS been quite a while since I actually discussed the subject. I feel like it keeps coming up in the story somehow, so maybe that’s caused me to feel like it hasn’t been so long since I last discussed it. Next time I get something interesting and related to the topic, I won’t skip over it.
