this week, i hacked myself into the existing SMW rom hack Reverie so i could conceitedly enjoy seeing myself run around in one of my favorite games ^_^

trying to get people into smw romhacking and kaizo will make you look like a clown, because then you have to explain how something titled not unsimilar to ""Big Shit World 3"" is the most anticipated kaizo hack rn

got Lunar Magic reinstalled and a clean Super Mario World ROM ready to go

I have absolutely no idea if I'll need to do any ASM hacking to get this to work, but I'm gonna try to recreate this and possibly this

the hacks in question are very well made, but there's a catch--they're a couple of those rare hacks that rely on a specific flaw in ZSNES 1.51 to get custom music working, which newer, more accurate emulators don't have (and thus can't run the hacks)

since ZSNES is ancient history and will eventually be unable to run without a virtual machine I figured I would see if I can rebuild them and work around this, given that the hacks' original creator seems to have all but vanished
