For a while now, I've been wondering what the ultimate Gen 1 spriteset would look like, and after a few weeks of adjustments, I believe I have created it.

For this set, I selected sprites from Red/Green, Red/Blue, Yellow and also Spaceworld. The majority are from Red/Green and Red/Blue.

After selecting which sprites should represent each monster, I made some very small enancements to each one. (Except for Golbat, which was already perfection).

To celebrate the release of this spriteset (Which was a couple of days ago on 1st April 2026), myself and a few other YouTubers put out videos, making use of these sprites, compiled into Gen 1.
