after beating pokemon red kaizo ironmon the other week, i decided i wanted to beat blue too. but due to red and blue being the same game i wanted to spice things up so… new rival. go my pixel critter, make my time in the lab less miserable

solatorobo script randomizer "funny moments"

as a test of my funny python scripts and libraries i have made, i put together a silly solatorobo script randomizer. it just shuffles around all the lines in the story sequences, and is basically just nonsense brainrot for my brain specifically. after being poisoned by vinesauce corruptions and the like for years, random is still what i find funny.

it does contain full game spoilers for solatorobo, just because it does indeed pick stuff from later in the story to put into this, the prologue chapter.

at this point, i don't even know what pharaoh is, let alone if it's doomed or not...

i don't think you were supposed to read that part of the script aloud, red.

red walks into this room and immediately it shows this. decoy elh? or cloning experiment to make new paladins... either way, slightly disturbing.

in this randomization, elh keeps getting anxious and deciding to do the rite of forfeit in panic. yeah same

the game was really fixated on how monumental this ladder was for some time.

chocolat was a double agent the whole time... what a betrayal!

alright, that's all for today. i intend to make my solatorobo modding tools open-source, public, and hopefully complete with a little GUI wrapper. it's nowhere near complete, but having this randomizer working is already a big step to make.

Greetings, welcome to my very first post on Tumblr.

I do Gen 1 ROM hacking things and post about them on a website called Youtube. https://www.youtube.com/@Porygondolier

For a while now, I've been wondering what the ultimate Gen 1 spriteset would look like, and after a few weeks of adjustments, I believe I have created it.

For this set, I selected sprites from Red/Green, Red/Blue, Yellow and also Spaceworld. The majority are from Red/Green and Red/Blue.

After selecting which sprites should represent each monster, I made some very small enancements to each one. (Except for Golbat, which was already perfection).

To celebrate the release of this spriteset (Which was a couple of days ago on 1st April 2026), myself and a few other YouTubers put out videos, making use of these sprites, compiled into Gen 1.
