Izzy hands me a dirty rag, quirking an eyebrow at me as he gestures to the deck. “You’ll be cleaning every inch of this ship until it’s spotless.”

“Well, what if I don’t want to?” I cross my arms and glare at him. I just spent a grueling three days taking care of a man close to the edge of death, trying my absolute best to keep him alive, and now Izzy fucking Hands is trying to make me swab the damn deck all by myself? I don’t think so.

He takes a step closer to me, dangling the rag in front of my face. “I said, take the rag and get on your knees.”

“You first, asshole,” I scoff, staring him dead in the eyes.

He blinks, a blush rising on his face as his words falter. His throat bobs, his eyes slide away from me, and I smirk at winning this battle. He really is too easy.

“Shut the fuck up,” He mumbles, gripping the rag tightly. “I should have your hide for this.”
