Every gunpla builders comes to time when they must decide: Will they be a Bandai purist? Or will they stray into the vast unknown of 3rd party kits...
I've come to that point, and I think I've made my decision. And it's mainly because of one company. May I introduce to you: SNAA. They're a Chinese based model kit company who has recently come out with a line called BE: Beyond Exquisite, a line very similar to Bandai's Real Grade. They only have 5 (?) kits in the line currently, all labeled as "The Round Table Knights", although only the connection is pretty much only by name, if at all.
This is the current kit on pre-order, the Giant Sword Tristan. As you can see, they come with full inner frames and no color correcting stickers, and from what I can tell, very nice pearl gold plastic.
The other two kits I would be interested in grabbing, the Giant Axe Lancelot [Left] and Iron Sickie Kay (*Sickle, but it's spelled with an I for some reason on the box) [Right].
These look REALLY cool and will only run you about $25. They're pretty hard to find and sell out pretty fast, so if I get my hands on one I'll do a full review and let you guys know what I think :D. Guess I won't end up being a Bandai purist after all.
