Snail fact:

Do snails have teeth? - Yes they do, they have several teeth on their tongue which is called a radula. They have between 1,000 and 25,000 little cheese grading teeth.

Did you know, that snails have no sense of hearing? Instead they feel the vibrations from under or around them and take that in as an alert to sound. They also have chemosensors that help them which is a mixture of smelling and tasting. In fact, one of their main sensors is touch and get around using this the most.

We call snails bugs, but snails are more closely related to giant squids than to insects, or arachnids, or even worms!!
