Ohgod i just remembered something cringe i did a couple years ago, time to find my headphones and put on a 6 hour video essay on snail genders
So, my great grandma lives up to the title, she is great, and a few days ago, she was talking about an aquatic snail she has, and she was primarily referring to it as ‘him’, but the snail had also apparently been pregnant when she’d gotten it, and has since given birth, so at one point, she said “I don’t actually know if it’s a she or a him, because where else would these babies have come from, so instead, normally I just call it a shim” (as in like. a combo of she and him) and honestly, like. My great grandmas acceptance of her genderfluid aquatic snail and creation of her own neopronoun to use for it is actually just so pure and good and I feel the need to share this with everyone.

My little angel laying eggs. Not the best quality but you get the gist. The little pink things working their way to the clutch I assume are the individual babies. Also if you are wondering what that noise is in the background it's a train that is obnoxiously close to my dorm building. I have the glorious privilege of listening to a variety of metal sounds at all hours of the day, my personal favorite is the crash-connecting of the cars at 2:30am that rattles the windows and sounds like an explosion. Enjoy!
