Nerite Snail Dead?

One of my nerites hasn’t moved in 2 days. I lifted her up and looked, she doesn’t look like she’s rotting, but she’s pulled back in her shell? (I call it a her) I don’t want to get rid of her if she’s alive. Is there a set time frame, or a sign that means she’s dead?

I have so many problems with snails! I've had them shipped to me twice, once DOA and the other time I felt them in the shell but maybe they were dead? Even in the aquarium they never came out of their shells and just rotted. I really wanted Nerites, but then I looked in the 20gal L and I noticed all of these little moving dots. I got plants from two sources so I have no idea which they came from but it looks like pond snails to me. And they are EVERYWHERE. So I guess I try to get assassin snails next??

i love uzumaki but i hate the snail parts because i used to just love snails. they were my bffs. but now whenever i see one i think of a gross creepy giant human/snail getting eaten alive ugh why
