Dyed some fabric for the snail plushie

The yellow one is for the body, the pink for the house/shell. There is also a blue one that still needs to cool down, to have the shell blue/pink striped

So, my nieces birthday is next month. And I found the MOST adorable sewing pattern

I have two fabrics in my stash I could use. Both wool, both felted.

One is a knitted fabric that then got felted and the other was woven before the felting.

Now I need to think what fabric to use...

The knitted is stretchy and bit more fluffy, but details are harder to sew, although there aren't that many details to begin with.

The woven one. Is thinner, and less see through...

Below you see one snail "eye" with both fabrics.

The pattern places the eyes on the front body, so these are basically just decorative snail antenna. So I could also just do a spiral, or floppy cut out

I personally like the rolled up antenna the most, but I'm curious what others think, and what kind of ideas are out there (I'm not the most experienced sewer, also this will be all sewn by hand, I still hate my sewing machine)

There are options to add cat or dog ears, what could be very cute with the floppy antenna, but also I could just leave the antenna out completely??

(the fabric will be dyed in fun ways, don't worry I won't gift a 2 year old sad beige insta mom approvable plushie)
