Midnight, today: I used my last battery to send a messege to my friend about an artist’s name. After which I got home and realized that my key is probably at the apartament... Having no battery, I had to ring the bell which is a problem because the dog (a dark small ratty creature) starts barking reapeatedly and my family was asleep because it was late. This woke my mother up and she opened the door... but she must’ve gone to sleep fast because there was nobody outside the bedroom when I entered... I expect scolding tomorrow..

Otherwise, the day was beautiful, I got my first pair of Dr. Martens and hung out with good people, had quality conversations and a lot of fun.

Sometimes when you work with produce everyday, you find snails in your parsley order. Then you can introduce them to new, exciting warehouse friends. Here she is meeting my Newport Beach crab (a longtime desk staple crustacean). #snailtales #nightshift

so my plant order came today and i'll make a post about that later, but look who also tagged along!  found this little terrestrial snail in the cluster of hydrocotyle i ordered (which means it's immersed grown UGH) and i don't know what to do with him. can't release him outside because 1) i dunno what species he is and 2) it's so cold out there!! but i also don't know how to take care of him. but, if he survives the night, i'm gonna try and make him a little enclosure and see what happens from there.
