Mmm my opinion doesn't mean squat but like... there's nothing wrong with wanting to place a licensing system on keeping venomous snakes. A licensing system where you have to attend x number of classes, you have to have state approved locks on your enclosures, you have to renew it yearly, and you have to update the nearest venom keeping/milking facility on the number of animals you have, gender, size, etc every time you get a new one or one passes away.
As a hobby, we're coming dangerously close to sounding like gun owners who like to pretend that their automatic rifles are "completely innocent tools uwu".
If it can kill someone with one bullet, we should restrict its accessibility. If it can kill someone with one bite, we should restrict its accessibility.
