I'm!! so excited!! I might cry!!! It still needs more layers of sealant, but I decided to carefully put it together to make sure the pieces would still fit well, and it looks really good, I think!! I don't know if it totally looks like a termite mound but it's close enough for a first project to make me happy! I really, really hope Charis likes it and fits in it.
I've taken a break from wheel throwing to do some hand building for my pets these last two weeks.
On the left are a snake hide (top) and corner water dish (bottom) that I built last week and textured and trimmed this week.
On the right I started another smaller corner water dish. Then a snail shell hide, and a tree log hide.
Very excited with how things are turning out so far!
Leeloo's new hide arrived! In one piece, too! Thank you to the talented @meanest-thieves-steal-blankets for this gorgeous ceramic cave. I'm going to introduce it in Leeloo's enclosure tonight, and hope she likes it.
A special box for a good boye
So I want to make some hides for Cairo rather than buy them, I'm thinking the same idea as the first picture but if it would be okay to use the pebble things from the second picture. I don't think it would be a problem to use them but if it is I have no problem doing the more natural rocks, if anyone knows if anythings wrong with it, please let me know, I want to make him some in the next few days!

Done painting the hide that @dirius cadded for me! Once we're able to produce these fairly quickly ill have them in my etsy :) just to get an estimate, what would yall pay for one of these, fully painted like this?
