understandable if you don't have any more to say however I did see the tags you left about Marguerite on the reblog and I am curious about any interpretations you have of her..... If you want to share ^_^'

I'd argue Marguerite is the only person on re7 to have become molded to look like one of her desires, to be polite, to be hospitable, to be a mother. both jack and Marguerite where the only ones who would show care for mia and Eveline when they first entered the house because they've grown to be so family centered

her molded design is inherently more human compared to jack and Lucas, which makes it more terrifying because they just pull a silent hill body Horror with her and makes her a more extreme version of her fragment of her personality which is being a mother that now exerts excessive control to keep her family "stable". her womb being her weakest spot during her boss fight could also be how she so sensitive to it that she reacts so violently at any attempt to shut her being maternal down due to her paranoia. I say this because my interpretation of how the mold work is that they amplify a version of themselves they identify with, like how Ethan is stubborn as a mule and how Lucas likes toying with people (even though u already think he was bat shit insane even as a kid)

also noticing that she isolates herself frequently in the old house which could also show that being the caretaker can sometimes be extremely overwhelming (moreso now because everyone's turning her down), and intruding into the sanctity of her now nest and shrine feels like a threat because that's her safe space and people who enter it want to ruin her perfect family

also tracing back her devotion to Eveline makes me think she was a Christian girlie
