The Snakedriver // - Well, after over a year of work, patience and focus, the first 44 Bikes Full Suspension Bike is real. - Details are as follows: 65° HT : 75° : ST : 430mm CS Length : 83mm BB Width : 12x157mm TA Rear : 150mm Front / 130mm Rear Travel : 210x50mm stroke shock : 1257mm Wheelbase : 30lbs as built (pictured is a size large-ish). - The long term plan is to offer stock S, M, L sizes of Made in the USA FS Bikes, right here in NH. Steel rear triangles paired with Steel or Titanium front triangles. - But this is only the first step and the first prototype. The general form and stance you’ll recognize from a previous hardtail I used to offer (Kid Dangerous). However this is a test mule to try out concepts and geometry numbers. The platform I have in mind is very different with the shock mounted low and bisecting the seat tube. I already know I want the front end slacker. But this is only the first prototype of many to come. I will be keeping everyone up to date moving forward on progress. But for now, lots of testing, riding, tubing and note taking is to be had before the snow starts falling. Then it will be time to roll up the sleeves on the next version in the winter of 2021. More to come and I’m excited as all get out to share it with you all! Till then, get stoked and go for a ride.
