Bentley is Gone

I will assume at the moment that she is just off on some wild adventure/roadtrip as would be her taste but her absence does make it particularly hard for me to confess any complicated and possibly romantic feelings to her.  For now, I choose to not be heartbroken as this is not a rejection but other than that, I am uncertain as to how I should feel.  Perhaps a bit sad and lonely, I believe.  I do wonder what exactly motivated this impromptu exodus and hope she returns shortly. Also, Crowley is not going to be happy about this, not in the slightest.

1, 5, 14

1.  Another close friend, since I already used my angel to answer this question before, is Crowley.  For one, I have known him for a long time through his association with my angel and always thought he was an sweet and interesting kind of demon.  And though he hasn't known me very long, he has been incredibly kind to me and wondrous to chat with even if his modern turns of phrase happen to confuse me.

5.  That is a very personal question Anon and not one I am certain I can answer properly.  My best attempt to satisfy your request is that I would marry someone who meets many of the requirement of 7 on here and seemed to love me equally as much as I loved them.  Sorry if my answer is not as salaciousness you'd hoped.

((14.  I started the blog for a few reasons.  The story goes that I was a fan of the After Omens PR group and every night on my blog I threatened that I was going to start up a Lady!Bentley RP or something but never did because I was nervous, thought I would suck and wasn't sure what I would do without a Lady!bookshop to flirt with.  Then Bentley showed up and did a beautiful job and I freaked out and considered making a Lady!bookshop.  

In the meantime my friend was threatening to delete her Azi RP and since it and the related Crowley's RP had helped get me in to tumblr in the first place and it is still a favorite RP of mine I decided to make Bookshop for sure.  It would give me have a fun reason to poke at her Azi all the time and I could talk to the After Omens peeps including Bentley for possible Bentley/Bookshop action.  So yeah a lot of reasons adding up to me starting this chatty little bookshop lady I now adore.))

15, 17, 20

15. Oh, I am slightly ashamed to mention this because it is so cliche and vain but I am insecure about my appearance.  I am just so new to having a human body and I can't seem to adjust to the face I see in the mirror.  It seems so gawky and plain that I find the whole thing slightly distressing and often times wish I looked more like Bentley with her idyllically proportioned curves and face like a 50s starlet.  I know dissatisfaction with your appearance is a common problem humans have and Crowley assures me I'm good-looking for a bookshop while Bentley has declared that I'm adorable but part of me doubts their words since they are my friends and they do hope for me to be in good spirits.  In any case, my physical appearance is just one part of who I am now and I'm sure I will grow accustom to it in time.  

17. I am not sure if there is just one way to win my affections but one of these ways, stated in the spirit of the question is: I will love you if you listen to my book suggestions but then go and purchase the actual book from another store.

20. I don't wish for much now that my angel and Crowley seem to have commenced a romantic relationship.  Hmmm... books are something I wish for if I think to do such wishing.  Books and... that something will happen between me and Bentley just books!

((Athena's Crowley and Aziraphale are finally making out and she is partially responsible.  Apparently she/I am a good little matchmaker.  I am far prouder of them getting together than is at all reasonable really.  Also their A and C are excellently played so it is extra amazing.  Go check out the A/C glory that they are currently creating.))

Meanwhile as Crowley and Aziraphale talk in stilted voices a room a way, Athena sits on the couch with Venus in Furs open on her lap.  This is a common sight.  The anthropomorphized bookshop can often be found reading when she is not talking the ears off of unsuspecting victims or babysitting any of the younger members of her community.  Athena is a fast reader and yet not a single page has been turned since Aziraphale entered the demon's room.  This is the first sign she is not actually reading.  The second sign is that periodically intense facial expression skitter across her face, then seek refuge in her bun.  A cringe, a gleeful smile and the whisper of a frown all are chased away by a forced and barren mask.  She knows that this is not her business and yet... she listens on.  Besides, she has been there for many of their firsts.  It seems only right to her that she be around for this one as well.  So she sits in rapt silence, ever the voyeur, hoping that finally, for once, everything will turn out as she hopes.
