Lately I’ve been hearing a lot of anger about people on tumblr not reblogging content as much as they used to. I’m kinda wondering why? If you’re an artist and get so upset at numbers that it’s genuinely harming your motivation to post then I’d take that as a sign to step back. Drawing for other people in exchange for numbers instead of for yourself is sad to me.
I’m not posting this from a place of superiority but more out of confusion. I used to be one of these accounts that barely reblogged content because I wanted my art to be the first thing seen on my own account - I’m reblogging more now.
Idk I might delete this later, it’s just been something I’ve seen a lot on here.
