A status report dated (6 June 1966) on the radioisotope thermoelectric generators of the “Systems for Nuclear Auxiliary Power”, including models for satellites, lunar–surface installations, and other space applications.
Taken from Nuclear Industry volume 13, number 6, June 1966. We have four full years of this publication (titled Forum Memo to Members up to August 1964), and are beginning to scan them.
Even–numbered SNAPs were reactor systems. Of these, only SNAP–10A ever went to space, and then only as an experiment.
