After struggling for hours I finally fixed the computer. No more snap.do, no more pop ups. I'm so proud of myself. This is the proudest moment of my life guys.
I stupidly downloaded a MLK to MP4 converter to make my gifs and got malware on my computer >:( does anyone know how to get rid of snap.do/shopping help smartbar?
I HATE Snap.Do! HOW MANY FUCKING TIMES DO I HAVE TO UNINSTALL THAT SHITTY BASTARD BEFORE IT FUCKING LEAVES ME THE HELL ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!!
fuck me snap.do got onto my computer..... luckily i got rid of it within thirty minutes of getting it but i browsed the tag, i saw a bunch of people wanting to know how to get rid of it. so, here's how i did it
run a full sweep with your antivirus software. just to make sure you get rid of anything the program decided you needed without asking you
go to your start menu
go to control panel
go to uninstall a program
and i believe it should be there in the list under snap.do. just click it and it should start up the uninstallation!
run your antivirus software after it's deletion, for safety measures
also, for firefox users, if it hasn't completely fixed the problem, you may need to just reset your browser, which you can accomplish under the help menu, in troubleshooting
if you have any problems, send me an ask and i can try my best to help you!!! :)
please bear in mind this method may not work for everyone, but it's the easiest way to go about removal. please don't be afraid to contact me and i can share other ways to get rid of this shitty program. i hope this helps!!!!!!!
