This isn't a question but a request: please kick Jack Kerouac's ass in a Denny's parking lot. Better yet, time travel and do it before he can write On the Road.
I’ve actually never read Kerouac :o.

What about (b)Robespierre? :B
Let’s not get ahead of ourselves.
characters/pairing up to you, buddy cop au ;P
“And then I just blew off the smoking barrel of my pistol, stared down at my young partner and told him the truth, told him, ‘There’s no such thing as true Justice in this world, Kent,’ and then the voluptuous woman we’d saved threw her arms around my neck and–”
“Officer Sain, Officer Kent is coming this way.”
“Duty calls,” Sain said, clapping Wil on the shoulder as he hurried away from the coffee machine and back to all the paperwork he hadn’t done.
'I wish you would write a 'fic where--' NO CHARACTERS WERE HURT IN THE MAKING OF thE FIC. Or at least, not permanently. ;P (/wraps eirika up in a warm scarf)
You mean like “Last Hope,” where she goes off to marry Saleh and becomes a happy cute mom?Or “Epithumia, Nous, Thymos,” where they are all smols and nobody is evil yet and she helps pull off a candied fig heist?
Or “Sweet,” where she and Innes make chair sex into a competition where everybody wins?
;P (I guess in that first one Ephraim is definitely permanently Suffering but then I got curious about how many fics I’ve written with no suffering at all :o. I HAVE COMPILED THEM BELOW THE CUT. Granted, a lot of them are older/not super great, but.)
i imagine you as like a paladin but specifically like titania tbh--beautiful and badass! but thanks to magvel hell i can't help but also merge that with eirika's fighting, so like titania but with a sword. and your fabulous hair obviously.
asldkfjaslj;LKASJDACJSLKDJFALKJWE
tbh swordfighting on horseback is mad useless with a rapier (sabre or go home) but this mental image is so good and I am so flATTERED aaaaaa. (My hair is the worst though; idk what is wrong with your eyes)
(as a slight aside i wonder if you don't get frustrated when canon doesn't give you 'enough' to work with by default? i could be wrong but i feel like lately at least MY tolerance for having to fill in everything myself has gotten lower. i used to love characters like kent where i could make tons of shit up but now i find it frustrating. i know you CAN make someone like kent into a good 'deep' character BUT it's kinda like why bother where there are others in canon, you know?)
Yeah, I kind of do feel it. I can’t believe I used to write Kent so often tbh, because as you know, now I find him so boring, bahaha. But yeah, I think I just got sick of having to examine him so hard to be able to flesh him out, and I do find that I feel a similar reluctance toward most characters you aren’t given a ton of information about. Not frustration, exactly, because I find that if I’m getting frustrated, I just don’t write the idea. It’s not worth it.
For me personally, it’s fun to be able to make up a lot about characters if there’s a lot IMPLIED, or a lot of METATEXT, but nothing concrete, or even contradictory canons/interpretations, so you can kind of go wild. (Jugdral is a prime example of this but it’s also why I’m writing Lyon so often these days, and why characters like Eliwood–who start out so pure/smol and can be written as grown up/embittered (or not) in so many different ways–always appeal to me so much. Or characters that are great Symbols, like Emmeryn, but don’t give us much in the way of actual Character, so then you have to transfer the former to the latter somehow.) Anyway, I’m rambling. But I know what you mean, totally.
This meme is hard because I feel like you would try your hand at writing almost anyone. I can't even say Badass!Eliwood because you even managed that. Narshen, maybe?
Oh, there are definitely characters I would not write if you paid me to because I like them so little you’d be wasting your money.
…actually this meme would be even more fun if we put a price on how little I like something.
I really don’t even think much about Narcien. He’s marginally more interesting than Valter as far as Villains On Dragons go, and his particular brand of nasty strikes me as a steal from FE5′s vain li’l shitbag Kempf. But I am not completely and utterly uninterested in Narcien, nor am I thoroughly revolted by him. I could set a moderate price on writing Narcien– maybe in exchange for art or cheesecake brownies[*]. The hardest part would be brushing up on FE6 itself, I think.
* Not an actual offer.
I know for a ficcity-fact that you are a roll of perfect cinnamon all the way through. <3
