The four main beans! Lilypaw, the GaleClan medicine cat apprentice and daughter of leader Heronstar. Her eyesight might be a little dulled, but her connection to StarClan is startling, and her mentors worry over her recent visions, not understanding why they’d give such horrific imagery to a young cat. Nettlehawk, a hard-headed warrior from SeaClan. Her sleep is troubled with strange dreams, and with her clan barely clinging to life after a devastating storm eliminates over half of their numbers, she’s eager to prove she can help her struggling family. Goldenthorn, a warrior who left RainClan to join TideClan on the eve of her naming ceremony. The TideClan leader, Thornstar, is clearly training her for something, but something doesn’t feel right to the golden molly, and she wonders what secrets her new home holds. Snapfrost, a TideClan warrior and daughter of the aforementioned Thornstar, though the two are estranged. She is a sturdy figure in the clan, though a past event keeps her from questioning her mothers motives out loud - until she and Goldenthorn come across the body of the clan’s missing medicine cat, and a small voice reaches out to the pair of them in their sleep.

Also sizes for comparison. Lilypaw being a lithe, more oriental looking kibben, Nettlehawk and her tufted fur, Goldenthorn being round a bit like a british shorthair, and Snapfrost, part Maine coon and oriental genes from her mother.

In this story, cats are able to swear their oath to a clan of their choice at the gathering - this keeps clans close and improves relations between them. It’s not uncommon, and is even welcomed readily. 

House cats are also welcomed into the clans to add to the gene pool and help with clan activities - though only if they are able and willing to leave their old lives behind and embrace the way of a warrior.

However, clan cats that reproduce with a housecat and bring in kits (without the other parent) are frowned upon. This simply creates, in the eyes of most, more mouths to feed and no extra paws to help, and on occasion this causes a dislike of any kittypet blood (aside from those who have joined the clans).

Yes, if you have tender plants & newly planted out plants giving them frost protection tonight is a good idea! I've just fleeced my #strawberries as they're nearly ready to set fruit & taken tender plants into the #greenhouse The problem is its been warm so plants have got ahead of themselves - a #snapfrost could harm #springfrost #frostinapril
