Feferi had little interest in the politics of Alternia, let alone the cruelty that becoming an Empress entailed. On one of the rare occasions that she managed to get away from her lusus, she overheard a conversation about a ship taking trolls to a new planet called Earth. A place where hierarchy didn’t matter.

Feferi made immediate plans to cut ties to her life and responsibilities on Alternia. She knew with her lusus’ hunger, she’d be unable take it along. And she was already looking for an excuse to end her moirallegiance with Eridan Ampora. What better reason than saying goodbye to all she knew?

Upon arriving on Earth, Feferi was greeted by several trolls who recognized her as a highblood. Though she wished to renounce her status, the other trolls thought her knowledge of Alternian society along with her convictions to make their race less violent would make her a strong leadership figure.

The Alternian council was founded with Feferi at it’s head alongside other trolls (stick around and find out ;) ) Her main duties include helping her race intermingle with humans and other new species in the most harmonious way possible. She’s also begun to take an interest in a medical profession.

Eridan was one of the last to leave Alternia. While Eridan had no desire in particular to oppress trolls below him in the hemospectrum, he did appreciate his status as a highblood in society and the perks that came with it. Eridan had always found difficulty connecting with others and due to this he had hoped to use his status to quell his loneliness, which to his disappointment did not come to fruition.

Feferi upon hearing about the opportunity to move to a new planet chose to end her moirallegiance with Eridan, stating that he seemed to want more than he was willing to give and requested he leave her alone.

Eridan also tried to connect with the other trolls such as Karkat and Kanaya, who at least acted as a stern older sister toward him, before noticing that the population was becoming sparse. With fee being left on Alternia such as Vriska and Terezi, Eridan felt his chances of companionship were better on Earth and fled.

Now however, he is overjoyed that Vriska has arrived as he's now on a mission to get in her good graces by helping her find what she's looking for.

Kanaya and Karkat Lore~

Kanaya and Karkat were the first trolls to leave Alternia. It was Karkat who received contact from John Egbert completely on accident. At first he was mistrusting of the human race believing them to be enemies, however after extensive back and forth conversation and swearing, Karkat determined that his chances of surviving on Earth were at least slightly better than being culled for his blood mutation on Alternia.

Kanaya was shocked to hear that another planet was contacting Alternia, but not that Karkat wanted to leave. Aware of his blood mutation and out of desire to protect him, she decided to flee Alternia with him, however this wasn't her only motive.

With the Mother Grub being her lusus, Kanaya knew abandoning her duty may result in serious consequences to the troll species. She sought council with the Mother Grub, who told her this may be a new beginning for the trolls. Soon after their meeting the Mother Grub perished and Kanaya took the matriorb and smuggled it on the ship to Earth. If this planet had the technology to contact, locate, and transport other species, then maybe it had the ability to facilitate the mother of all trolls and begin a generation of trolls who were less inclined to the brutality of Alternia.

Okay, Eridan's gauntlet of rejection is done lol I'm gonna do a few backstory posts and then I'm gonna try something new. At first I wanted to keep everything in snapchat format but it's starting to hinder how I tell the story a bit. From now on I am going to format the AU to be a bit more like mspfa (because it's eventually going to end up there) and feature snapchats in place of pesterlogs :]
