Hello anon! :-D unfortunately, it's not in snapun's tag and I couldn't find it anywhere :-( the original filename was: [snapun]_Helga_70_pookleted.rar

In my mediafire purge list I wrote that @aliksims (hi!) archived snapun's downloads. Do you perhaps have this hair retexture from snapun and could re-upload for anon? :-D

If anyone seeing this have this download from snapun, please do re-upload :-)

Well, in response to @technomatri‘s request to @sims2packrat, I offered to try recreating Snapun’s missing Helga 70 hair recolor. 5280 years later, I have finished it well enough and I am washing my hands of the project before I toss my computer out the window. I think it turned out ok in the end, but I’ll let you be the judge. ;;>.>

There is now only ONE caveat: this is a VERY OLD hair... and so the texture was drawn on instead of meshed on, and (like many old hairs) was therefore not optimized to stretch around sim heads. Thus, the texture is a bit muddy on the back of the head (as you can see in the third picture), but it works... fine... as long as you don’t look too closely.

(2) As you can see by the fourth picture, it does not play well with my CAS lighting. It seems to do fine in-game and in body shop, so I’m just going to point that out and move right along. (The original hair also has this problem, but I don’t have the time or inclination to figure out why.) A HUGE thank you to @goingsimcrazy for telling me in the notes how to fix this problem! The file has been reuploaded with the fixed mesh. ;;;>.<

I’ve included both the base I used and my mess of a photoshop file that I was using to try to recreate it, if anyone else is inclined to take a whack at it. Teen-Elder, in the pooklet naturals/binning/etc Snapun used.

Sorry if this has been asked before. Where can I find snapun’s hair recolours? I loved their recolours and most of their download links are dead.

Hello fried-bologna-is-life! :-D no worries! I found one hair re-uploaded at packrat, here, but snapun’s box links work if you use digi’s re-director! :-D

snapun once did some retextures of peggy hair 6608 but the original downloads are dead would you happen to know where i can find it?

(snapun’s original post) looks like they’ve fallen victim to dropbox changing their links. The original file names was [snapun]-Peggy-6608-pookleted.rar but I can’t seem to find it reuploaded anywhere. I did find another retexture of the same hair from MYBSims but that’s sadly the best I can offer right now.

It looks like they’re still active on tumblr though so I’ll just add this here: @snapun you don’t happen to have your old hair retextures stashed anywhere?

I've also made a replacement using the same mesh, but with these retextures by Time Paradox, which are slightly less shiny. It's hard to tell looking at the pictures, but they really are. You can download the Time Paradox's version here
