CASASLINDAS ARCHIVE --UPDATE--
It’s been a few weeks since my original post, so I thought I’d provide an update on how things are going. I've been busy getting everything ready for upload, and very fortunate to have had the help of a few little elves...
On a whim, I decided to message Michelle @mysimmylicioussims
I had downloaded her latest lot Autumn Comfy Coziness 2023 and while using Clean Installer, I noticed there was a particular chair by Katija with a recolour from twinkie (Casaslindas/Helen Torres). I was overjoyed as I was missing Helen’s set ‘Starshine Chairs’ (one of those nuisance Dropbox links that had crapped itself).
So last week, I asked Michelle if she happened to have more of the twinkie chair recolours, expecting maybe a few at best. I would have been happy with a few. But Michelle did one better – she had the original zip file!! I was stoked to say the least. Then I asked if she wouldn’t mind reading my Tumblr post and taking a looksie at the Flickr albums in case she recognised any recolours she might have from the other missing sets. I had resigned myself to the fact that I may never get a hold of the sets with the dreaded Dropbox links from 2014-2015 or even the newer sets, but a few recolours here or there to form partial sets is better than no set at all.
Not only did Michelle accept my request to look at the albums, she spent days scouring her stash of files, comparing the files to the images, compiling a list of Casaslindas sets complete with pictures and links and added them to a Word Document which she kindly emailed to me. Although I had these sets already, my organisational skills weren’t too sophisticated when I started – basically create a folder with the set name and drop the zip file and images inside it. However, Michelle’s hard work was confirmation that I hadn’t missed anything (or messed up anything), and I truly appreciate her time and effort. Thank You Again Michelle – You're a Wonderful Gem!!!
THE BEST NEWS – Michelle had 13 original files/sets and 2 almost complete sets...all from those nasty Dropbox links. I can’t thank her enough for finding and generously sharing these with me and soon enough, everyone else.
MORAL TO THE STORY: If you never ask, the answer will always be no.
So today, I updated the Flickr Album page by removing the FOUND sets. For the sets which have some files but are incomplete, I have renamed from *MISSING* to *PARTIAL*. I have taken a screenshot of the updated album page, which has dropped from 39 missing sets to 25 (including 6 incomplete sets) - WOO HOO!!

Some further great news is Inzey at @droolworthysims commented on my post that was kindly reblogged by @vegan-kaktus at @sims2packrat (thanks again VK). Inzey also has some files belonging to 3 other missing sets that she intends on sharing with me so I can add them to the appropriate set. When I receive her files, I will update the albums once again. Inzey's contribution will make it 25 missing sets including 9 incomplete sets. Thank You Inzey!!!
To make things easier, I will post images on my tumblr of each Partial set, with the recolour file names that are missing. Can I ask everyone a huge favour - please check your Downloads folder or CC stash in case you may have the files I need to complete a set. I will also include the original zip file name (if known) in case someone still has the complete set.
Also, I have the complete 600+ Tumblr Followers Gift and I have images of the 900 Tumblr Followers Gift (which I really want but don't have), but could find no trace of any gifts released in between those two. I had downloaded almost everything from Nat Cavalcante @ NatDreamSims several months ago, including a Residential Lot which had twinkie pillows/cushion recolours and the file name was 700+ Followers Gift, so I know Helen must have released that gift, although I imagine there were other files included in that set. But I'm unsure if she released a 750, 800, 850 or any Follower's Gift in between. There are no images/links/posts anywhere online of such gifts existing. If you do have any of Helen's Followers Gifts after 600, or other later sets not shown in the album, I would be so grateful if you could please send me a link to those as well.
I will post a link to my Casaslindas SFS Folder next week (or earlier if I can). I really wanted to gather and upload as many complete sets as possible as I have renamed the new zip file (now compressed, meshes included, images and screenshots of the original post) to start with Helen's release date. That way, everything will be listed in chronological order from start to finish. I have my xx Fingers Crossed xx that this weekend (with everyone's help), we can find the missing zip files or the missing pieces to create a set.
