Recently read Etherized Against The Sky and would love recs similar to that, specifically Ian and/or Mickey having an outside adult to just care for him/them in a non-exploitative way. Thank you!

I just read Etherized Against the Sky and I want more like it, but it feels like there isn't a lot out there similar? I think what I like about it is the relationship he has with his brothers, plus the fact that there are consequences for Kash and Micky/Ian heals from him. I kinda also love that Mickey met Monica and they bonded. Any fics with any or some of those themes?
Hi! This is so interesting that people keep asking us about similar stories about Etherized Against the Sky, I think it's our fourth ask about it! What a great great fic, right? We made some recs for the anon that wanted see Mickey getting help like in EAS, but since you listed exactly what you want, a couple more recs based on your likes :)

Right? Etherized Against the Sky is amazing and we’ve actually got three(!) asks about it one after another :D I really can't wait to read more, too. But this is the thing, the fic is pretty unique imo, I don't think there is anything else that deals with Mickey's trauma and healing so explicitly AND set so early in canon.
One of the asks compared it to Our Freedom in My Sight, which wasn’t my first association but I can definitely see that with Mickey getting legal help and getting to heal from his trauma.
Other fics where Mickey gets some kind of help:
In broad-shouldered beasts series Mickey gets to deal with his traumas after he's released on parole. He does his best to build a "normal" life and a relationship with his son while juggling the scars of his past.
Don’t Leave Me to Bleed Kev and V are Mickey’s foster family.
Take Me In Mickey's Dad finds out about Mickey being gay and even though Ian's not there, but he finds the Gallaghers are still willing to take Mickey in.
You Deserve Good Things Mickey’s holding down a job as a mechanic, going to court appointed therapy, living in his own place, and maybe even has a friend, until a new parolee walks through the door, bringing with him some of Mickey's demons that he thought he'd long since buried.
The Question of Normal Ian is a prison counsellor and Mickey is an inmate assigned to him. Ian tries to find a way to get him legal help.
