"The Snark Mark" I recently became aware of a whole bunch of obscure punctuation marks that I never knew existed. As a result of this discovery, I’ve created a series of images that honor these obscure punctuation marks. Not sure anyone will ever actually use these punctuation marks but you could try using them now and again to show your friends that you’re smarter than they are. That should answer your questions as to why nobody invites you out much anymore
The "Snark Mark" is a punctuation mark used to indicate sarcasm or a sarcastic tone in writing. It's a period followed by a tilde, acting as a signal to the reader that the preceding text is intended to be sarcastic or playful. It helps writers convey a sarcastic or wry tone, preventing potential misinterpretations of their words. "I love that! (.~)" would be a way to indicate sarcasm about a statement.
