Here are the raws for Sinbad no Bouken 100 and a summary! Wow! What an intense and emotional chapter! I am starting to wonder just how it is they actually get out of here... O__o; I’m really excited to see what Zephar has in store for them next week. ;O;
Just a reminder, to anyone who follows me and enjoys these raws/summaries, parts of or even all of these summaries could be completely wrong, so be advised as you read them as I am by no means a professional translator!

Hello everyone! Thank you for being so patient during the 2 week break and also congratulations Sinbad no Bouken for reaching its 100th chapter!!! :D
Now let’s jump right in! So at the beginning of this chapter we see that the whole crew has already made their way to Ja’far’s side as Zephar (still inhabiting Masrur’s body) stares at them from a distance. They tell Ja’far to hang on but then Drakon holds him close and begins to say that Ja’far has already died. Just then, Zephar bursts out into laughter and commemorates Ja’far, saying for the sake of his king, that life of his was thrown away. He says that that type of preparedness is exactly what loyal subjects should have and for the sake of their king, they should be willing to extinguish their lives. He then says that this is exactly what he wanted to see and that they have passed this part of the trial. As soon as he says this, he releases his hold on Masrur’s body and exclaims that this fight has now officially ended and that it was a really good fight. Sinbad repeats what Zephar said about this being a “good fight”, his voice trailing off into a question. Zephar answers him with a smile on his face, saying that Ja’far made a desperate effort and again confirms that it was a good match. He goes on to say that the first two drew out an overwhelming amount of power and the next contender even devoted his own life. Finally, he states that there is no other outcome that is more pleasurable than this and tells Sinbad that he had a good subordinate. After this, he begins to decide what they will do next, but is cut off in mid-sentence as Sinbad screams at him to stop messing with them and suddenly transforms to face Zephar. Zephar, unamused, asks what exactly this is supposed to be. Sinbad answers that this is Baal and that they are not Zephar’s play things. He exclaims that his friends fought very seriously and followed his unreasonable demands and because it was part of the test, he himself also withdrew from it. But, if Zephar says that this is the result, then he will never forgive him. “Will you sacrifice your life for your king?” “Just how many hardships will you endure for the sake of your king?” He then states that if this is what Zephar calls a “loyal retainer” then he doesn’t want anything to do with it. He says that he will take on everything! Their scared bodies, their lives! He will take on everything for his friends! He then says he doesn’t understand Zephar’s reasoning and that he will make Zephar regret toying with his friends’ bodies and lives.
Finally, Zephar speaks up, saying that it’s impossible and that he already told him he... but Sinbad cuts him off by saying, “Invincible right? But how will you fare against the power of another Dijin?” As the two begin to face off, we suddenly hear someone ask Sinbad what on earth he is doing, even though this person said that he would leave the rest to him. He goes on to say that by doing this, there will have been no point to his death and that he said he was counting on him so that things wouldn’t turn out this way and then says that Sinbad in hopeless. Everyone’s gaze is immediately diverted over to Ja’far, who is now fully conscious!! Extremely confused, Drakon says that it’s impossible and that he was sure he had died. Ja’far says it was simple and nothing more than “suspended animation”. He explains that he thrust at his chest to stop the beating of his heart for one hour. He says that with this technique, he may only be able to stay like this for a short time, but it’s enough to fool his enemy. He says that it was something he learned during his assassin days and he is glad it proved useful. Ja’far then faces towards Zephar and states that the rules were, one of them had to die in order to pass and that he did in fact “die” once and so they technically were able to properly follow the rules. He then says that both he and Masrur were safely able to pass the trial and then tries to assure that Zephar will not break his promise. Upon seeing Ja’far, Sinbad loses all his intention to fight and transforms back to normal. He then walk up to Ja’far’s side in order to help confirm what he has just said with Zephar. At that moment, Hinahoho, Mistoras and Masrur all regain consciousness. Hinahoho and Mistoras then ask why the arena is in such disarray and ask what kind of fight occurred while they were unconscious. Sinbad then call out to them as Masrur walks up to Ja’far. Ja’far then immediately begins to inspect him and asks if he is okay. Masrur says he is okay and that Ja’far is actually more beat up than he is and asks what happened while he was unconscious. Ja’far answers that nothing happened and that it’s all over now.
Finally, Zephar angrily speaks up. He asks if they really thought they were going to win this easily. He then states that he will not recognize it. He says he will not recognize Sinbad as a king and that they will spend the rest of their lives in this dungeon!! Sinbad then says that this is excellent and Ja’far adds that from the beginning, this was nothing more than a dungeon that they had to capture for the sake of Heliohapt. Finally, Sinbad exclaims that they will just have to make their way out with brute force!
And that’s all for this week’s chapter! I just loved everything about this chapter! I loved how Sinbad actually challenged a Dijin and it was so great when Ja’far started speaking without them knowing he was still alive! ;O; And poor little Masrur… T^T Of course in the end, Zephar had to go and be a sore loser about it… but I really do wonder what they are going to do… O__o; We need Baal to step in, calm Zephar down and tell him he is being unfair! Haha Well, I guess we’ll see soon enough~
This week's karuta card is the mysterious Magi, Yunan! I hope you enjoy! :D
