I got this ask, finished this already-existing sketch I had of Heket's polycule once she's in the lamb's cult, and then was like "I can't post this shit". Days have gone by...but by POPULAR DEMAND, IT'S HEKET AT HOOTERS TIME (BASED OFF THIS PICTURE)

She is polyamorous, but unlike kallamar, her standards are very high and she won't accept marriage proposals from virtually anybody unless they're a lumpy/fuzzy butch frog demon?? I was gonna go off about her doomed yuri love life, but maybe the description of a drawing of her at Cult Hooter's isn't the place. All I'll say is she hasn't married in 1000 years after her last wives inevitably died, but after indoctrination she gives it another shot! I posted some panels from a comic about this but idk if I'll ever finish it

Zepar and Furfur are demons that encourage people to get heterosexually married. And this is because they are evil.

I'm not even shitposting this is just basic literary analysis.

umineko strongly argues that straight marriage is basically the same thing as hell. battler romancing beato is straight up a descent thru dante's inferno. see also, basically every marriage in the entire story is full of at least one person suffering horribly(nearly always the women, but occasionally the men suffer too)

Also zep and furf were the ones officiating Erika and Battler's wedding. they're textually complicit in sexual assault. They don't give a shit about the happiness of straight people. also, of course, they made the love trial participants murder a bunch of people for fun.

If they really believed any of the shit they were saying, they wouldn't be so obviously doing a stage performance. If they were really all about being straight, they would be clearly a heterosexual couple, instead of being androgynous little elves. They're obviously above heterosexuality themselves. Not once do they show any hint of romantic interest in each other, despite being of different genders. Because they don't WANT romance for themselves, they want to watch people suffer.

Beato gave shannon the brooch that IS zepar and furfur specifically because she wanted to see relationship drama with a tragic ending. Zepar and Furfur exist to cause pain and suffering. They exist to make straight people miserable. And they do that with the power of heteronormativity.

Straight people to them are like funny little pets that they can trick into dying horribly.

Basically, they're queer and evil, and that would normally be super valid, except the type of evil they have chosen is comphetting people to their doom. which is extremely funny to me.
