Night 173 “The man named Sinbad”

(Page 1) TN: The chapter starts with various shots of what a few hours ago was the kingdom of Sindria, the former citizens burning in the streets with swords through their heads and limbs, and everything is on fire (Just like Sinbad’s flashbacks from Magi…)

(Page 2) TN: Sinbad walks down the streets with a stern look on his face while he has an inner monologue.

Sinbad: It’s strange… To think my mind has come clear.

Even though the country has become like this…

The country, it’s citizens and my comrades…. I lost them all.

………

……...

I wonder, why did things end up this way?

We, in order to create our own country, made great efforts, tried all possible means and came to realize our dream, to found a country.

TN: Facility flashback! (The start of the end…)

Even if sometimes those acts were like selling our souls to the devil.  

 We, who didn’t have anything, came to the decision to do what was necessary on behalf of creating a country.

We turned a blind eye on things that became an obstacle in the foundation of the country, and that way, we ended up like this.

The collapse of the things we built up is…. certainly unbearable.

(TN: For me to reach the summit/to come this far… btw he uses the same word that David uses in Magi when he says it was all “an opening move/strategic move/Stepping stone”, I don’t know I thought it was interesting to mention it haha)

And the chapter ends with a big roar of Medium!Serendine and Sinbad staring at her.
