my thoughts: a truly entertaining baeksoo fic! another golden one from 2015's sncj santa. i love when the author characterizes baeksoo with traits that seem so close to their real personalities. they are just a fun otp to read/write about. oh, and kyungsoo is a firefighter. instant brownie points.

my thoughts: squealing as i write this rec because chenyeol feels and swimming au and great banter– truly a wonderful read.

i always miss sncj-santa because the exchange is only once a year, but what a time to be merry, they are currently posting many great fics! i need to read all the longfic and anything baekchen and/or with minseok. wishing you all a happy new year filled with literary joy~

When Joonmyun decides to add Oh Sehun as the sixth member of their crew, Jongin seems to be the only one that has a problem with it.

my thoughts: i absolutely love this fic, its heist!au and completely addicting to read! there's a sense of brotherhood because they're all on a team but each have their own role and characters. jongin's dynamic with everyone is unique as well. throw in some humor and a bit of a thrill and you have this amazing fic.

If nothing else, being pleasantly sloshed helps to temporarily tame that crippling self-consciousness that began surfacing in Chanyeol’s early teenage years, and which never quite left him. Chanyeol hates that feeling, especially now that he and his band-mates are all subject to constant scrutiny by the general public; that feeling of being too painfully aware of his surroundings, and how he fits into them – or rather, how he doesn’t fit into them.

my thoughts: the story is mostly from baekhyun's perspective but the author makes chanyeol a 3d character as well, which is very important to the plot. it's saddening, but the overall feel of it is hopeful. the reality of the plot is what led me to recommending it now.
