Il y a 125 ans, ouverture de la première ligne de tram désservant Hamme-Mille : Louvain-Hamme-Mille-Jodoigne

Le bus 18 des TEC, bien connu de nos concitoyens, dessert aujourd’hui la ligne Leuven-Hamme-Mille-Jodoigne.

Auparavant, cette ligne était désservie par une ligne de tram vicinal passant comme quelques autres lignes  par la station tramways de…

anderlues 1922 by Peter Eijkman Via Flickr: Unieke foto! Uit de reportage "het net Henegouwen van de NMVB" door Frits vd. Gragt in op de rails 1963. Duidelijk te zien is dat de linkse motorwagen nog een trolley stang heeft.Die rechts op de foto bezit een sleepbeugel. Of de halte toen ook al Monument heette durf ik niet te zeggen, maar als je goed kijkt zie je wel iets van een herdenkings bouwsel......Ook de plaats op de weg van de sporen is nogal eens gewijzigd: van rechts naar links.

Anderlues Depot by Peter Eijkman Via Flickr: Van een kennis ( gepensioneerde trambestuurder) dit weekeinde een DVD gekregen met schitterende fotos van de NMVB Henegouwen uit 1984.De maker is mij niet bekend, maar zou uit Duitsland komen..Hier kijken we op het achterterrein van de stelplaats. Let op het 3-railige spoor! Dat dit bestond is slechts weinigen bekend... Van het voormalige station van de NMBS tot hier liep een 3-railig overgave spoor naar de NMVB voor goederenwagens. De( duidelijk al buitendienst gestelde) S wagen heeft een koppelwagen aan de haak met stoot-en-trekwerk voor normaalspoorwagens. De tram trok de NMBS wagens dan van het station naar het depot terrein. Onder de achterste as is een "slof" oftewel remschoen te zien.

SNCV Hainaut by Geoffrey Tribe Via Flickr: At the Thuin ASVi museum depot is wagon 8409 a 'wagon intercalaire' or match wagon in English, fitted with both mainline and SNCV buffers and couplings. This was used when standard gauge wagons were moved over sections of mixed gauge track.

Brussels – Rue de France 1970 by Geoffrey Tribe Via Flickr: Vicinal steel standard car 10284 plus trailer 19351 has just arrived and discharged most of its passengers at the stop alongside Midi station in Rue de France in September 1970. This was the return of a special run to visit the tramway museum at Schepdaal.
