Name: Orion.

Gender: male, he / him.

General Appearance: a veena viera like ambrose, with a height belonging to someone with ancient genes. his hair is a soft black that appears a rich brown in sunlight, a medium length. his eyes are a brilliant gold like his amaurotine father, obtaining that same otherworldly hue, flecked with violet. much like ambrose, his viera ears have the same drooped quality; the older he gets, more white is beginning to speckle them. he has hades' nose.

Personality: gentle and studeous, orion has a bleeding heart that only grows the older he gets. raised lovingly by ambrose and protected perhaps a little too much by hades, he at times can be naive, but he's far from a fool. he likes to see the best in people and the world, not having inherited hades' cynicism in the slightest; due to this, he clashes at times with his father, but he can never stay sullen for long. he has a little bit of a temper that he focuses inwards more often than not, which leads to it building and bubbling over.

Special Talents: orion has an eidetic memory, memorising anything from every page in hades' tomes, to the names of all the herbs and flowers in the garden, to exact geographical and nautical coordinates. he only has to read it once to recite it to you with perfect ease.

Who they like better: ambrose, certainly. he's comfortable with hades and will sit in his lap more often than not, but ambrose is his safety blanket, his favourite arms to crawl into. he's very “let's do x with papa” with ambrose.

Who they take after more: he's the spitting image of ambrose, holds himself with that same gentle air. but if pushed or in a serious situation, he has the same unsettling presense as hades, a trait only intensified by the uncanny quality of his eyes.

Personal Head canon: orion actually struggled to manipulate or see aether for a really long time, and grew insecure of it due to just how powerful hades is in that regard. magic does not come easily to him at all, and he has to practice a lot harder to achieve success unlike others. that insecurity bubbled into anger, both at himself and at hades for somehow "making him wrong." he channeled & found cathartic release through the marauder & then warrior class (he thrives in the role of defending his friends).

HEY NOW THIS IS CHEATING. SOMEHOW. well!!! if nothing else, I'm very dedicated to my muses, I try incredibly hard to research them, study their dialogue and overall ensure my writing partners are getting the best I can give them. hitting a medium degree of accuracy is very important to me.

other than that, I like to think I've grown a lot more confident in the rpc since I first came back last year after several years away. if I follow anyone first, or even if someone follows me first, I try to get rid of those “new people jitters” by messaging first & getting some degree of contact going, so we can get to know each other & start plotting something for our muses. because if we're mutuals, we want to write together!! I know approaching for the first time can be scary, so I like to hopefully make people feel welcome & comfortable

When Ambrose returned from Tural to see his bedridden lover, he did not come alone. Along with him came a small Shetona trailing behind him with their thumb in their mouth.

Name: Ui'she Gilman

Gender: Unknown at first, but she turns out to be a lady, she/her.

General Appearance: A pudgy child who grows into a soft, curvy lady. She has long ears that stand up straight and thick hair. Her hair and fur is a deep crimson red, and her skintone is a russet brown. Her lagomorphic nose is covered in dark brown freckles that get darker in the sun. Her eyes are ruby red.

Personality: A true sweetheart. She's sweet and charismatic, full of smiles and kind words. Although she did not speak right away other than to tell Ambrose her name, she soon became a little chatterbox. She is bright and sunny in nature, but she tends to keep to herself. It's unknown what happened to her family, and whether or not she remembers them is anyone's guess. But if she is affected by it, she does not share her grief.

Special Talents: Takes to magic like a sponge takes to water. She first dabbles in thaumaturgy, but finds that the dramatic nature of the magic isn't to her liking. Eventually, she finds her niche in Sharlayan conjury, which becomes an effort to help her father be less dependent on his cane and wheelchair. She becomes an accomplished conjurer and, although she never manages to fully heal Haurchefant, she does much to make his day to day life easier and less painful.

Who they like better: Haurchefant, but it's by a hair. Both of her fathers are supportive and loving, but Haurchefant is more fun when she's a child. She has many memories of riding on his lap in his wheelchair, and she loves his stories about knights and dragons fighting side by side.

Who they take after more: Her charisma and cheerfulness are staples of Haurchefant's personality, although she is very much her own person.

Personal Headcanon: While she never sees the thousand year war, she sees the remnants of it in Ishgard. Her skills as a conjurer become widely known as a blessing to the old soldiers sporting lasting injury. She becomes a highly regarded healer of Ishgard, tending to those old wounds and improving the lives of those around her tenfold. Her fathers are extremely proud of her.

with a groan, vaeiri stretches his legs out before himself. the day has been long and the fighting arduous, though this is slowly becoming routine. if he'd known allying himself with varric and harding would lead to this, he might have done some more thinking.

alas, here he is now, back at the lighthouse. bruises bloom across his arms, his cheek stinging where a a particularly upset spirit struck at him earlier. "i'm fine, lucanis," he reassures, a smile sitting askew on his lips. he does mean it; there is no merit in whining about something that cannot be changed. he is no longer a veil jumper, but a fighter.

he softens, though, as he takes in the expression washing over lucanis's handsome face. vaeiri coos. who knew the fabled demon of vyrantium had such a soft, caring side? "i appreciate the concern. the bruises won't kill me. but... " his smile morphs into a cheeky grin. "i could need a cup of that coffee of yours, if you'd be willing to share?"

"Perhaps I wish you would," Erenville returned, not aggressively but not kindly either. He sort of wished everyone would just leave him alone, Ambrose included. Although he knew Ambrose was affected by this more than the others, no one was affected as much as he was. And maybe this was his time to be a little selfish.

This whole situation was still teetering on the edge of believability for him. He couldn't quite wrap his head around the facts. Sure, it was easy to understand that the dome had been up for thirty years within and only days without. It was easy to understand that his mother had perished fighting back against Zoraal Ja during that time. It was easy to understand that Sphene had somehow created a veritable afterlife for her residents to live within.

But to believe all of that...it still felt unreal.

He had hugged his mother goodbye for the last time, and he still couldn't quite parse that she was never coming back.

In spite of his words, Erenville leaned up against Ambrose, shoulder to shoulder. Perhaps one day, this would all be a memory he could believe had happened, but for now, it was just grim, unbelievable reality.

There's security in playing with a fellow wolf when typically, the idea of sinking teeth into skin brings an anxiety that ruins most any game.

Ambrose has long been an anxious one- and Jett would be lying if he said he himself didn't worry day to day what his teeth would do to a plain human partner.
