sneezequest: 2025 review!
the month with the highest total and highest average daily sneezes was January! the lowest total and daily average was October. the highest number of sneezes in one day was 66 in December when I had a head cold. the longest stretch of time with no sneezes was four days immediately after I recovered from that head cold. not sure why. the total for the year was 4740!
but sneezequest is not over! inspired by feedback from my friends, I will be continuing sneezequest into 2026, this time collecting more detail! instead of just adding to a daily total each time I sneeze, I will be tracking how many sneezes are in each sitting so I can get a feel for how much I tend to sneeze in one burst. just based on what I can tell, I think it's usually six sneezes at once, but it'll be nice to have solid data on that. I will also be tracking outside data that may be affecting sneezes, like whether I was around pets, if I went outside, if I was exposed to a lot of dust, etc.
also, because this was sort of tied to bobaquest, I'm sorry to report I did not complete the menu at any one boba store. I will be continuing that quest into 2026 as well. I can report that my favorite drink of the year was rose emerald tea at a tea shop down the street from my barber. I drank it on a rainy day and felt like I'd gone to heaven. second and third place go to a light season oolong from the same store and a jasmine green tea from a boba shop near my friend's old apartment. here's hoping I can drink more tea this year!
