I have an au for you.

Kai turns into a serpentine one day, and the serpentine he turned into is very dangerous. Wu, being worried about what would happen, tricked Kai and the rest of the serpentine into going back underground. Kai realizes he’s been tricked and starts having a breakdown. He thinks his family abandons him, so he gets adopted by the serpentine generals.

The worst part is that the ninjas, Maya and Ray don’t even know. Wu straight up lied to them saying Kai either died or ran off.

This is a different snek kai au from the evil-to-redemption snek kai au.

Though I don’t know what to call that au yet.

Ancestry

Snek! kai with some lore on Llozaiver.

Kai had a thought. "Is there more about the llozaiver ssssserpentine?" Kai asked himself. He went to Acidicus for answers. "Acidicusssss, can I asssssk you sssssomething?"

"Sssssure," Acidicus answered. "What'sssss on your mind?"

"I want to know more about my serpentine race."

Acidicus looked at Kai, shocked.

"Umm...Do you have sssssomething ssssspecific you want to know about?"

Kai thought about it.

"What happened to them?"

Acidicus thought about it.

"I can try my bessssst, but we haven't ssssseen them in forty yearsssss."

Kai and Acidicus sat down.

(Switching to narrative mode.)

The Llozaivers were the first serpentine race to exist along with the Anacondrais. It was said the two represented night and day. It might be why an Anacondrai can turn invisible while a Llozaiver can mimic powers. Llozaivers were seen as protective serpentines, bright, and caring. 

They were the peacemakers between Serpentines and Ninjagon. Rumors are, some llozaivers had some extended versions of the serpentine powers. 

They could change the Hypnobrai hypnotism into a sleeping trance for those who can't sleep.

The Fangpyre bite into a reversal bite, getting rid of all physical pain.

The Constrictai grip into a relaxing grip, relieving all stress in a body.

The Venomari Venom into a healing remedy for deadly poison herbs.

One day, the first spinjiztu master had a vision of a war between serpentine and ninjagon. He asked all but one serpentine to go into hiding. Aarush, your grandfather, volunteer to stay with the ninjagon. But the Pyro Viper leader refused to let that happen. He and his tribe would stay in Ninjago, for he thought Aarush would die by ninjagon hands. So Aarush said goodbye to his wife and children, but one child wanted to stay with him. The wife allowed this to happen, and the two lovers gave their last love to each other.

All of the serpentines hid away in the Hidden Forest. They continued to live life without the interaction of the outside world.

The llozaivers led the serpentine life and continued to teach others of their powers. Soon, Aarush died. His son, Severus, continued to rule the serpentine with his new wife, Nagini Chumsworth. Though he was an Anacondrai, he was just like his father. He made sure to follow in his path in being kind and accepting to everyone.

If a creature ended up stumbling upon the Hidden Forest, they would be accepted by the Anacondrai and Llozaiver. 

After years of being in the Hidden Forest, the ancient serpentine had a vision of the Golden Master. So most of the serpentine tribes went out to Ninjago while the Llozaiver tribe along with other serpentines and creatures stayed behind.

"Wait a minute." Kai said.

Acidicus looked at Kai.

"Isssss sssssomething wrong?" Acidicus asked.

"You sssssaid Ssssseverusssss, the ssssson of Aarusssssh, married sssssomeone named Nagini Chumssssssworth, and he wasssss an anacondrai."

"I believe I did."

“That'sssss Pythor'sssss lassssst name and ssssserpentine race. Am I related to Pythor?"

Acidicus started to sweat.

"I think that'sssss enough hissssstory for today."

"What! You can't leave it at that!"

Snake Kai with four snake dads hc

So here are some hcs for this au.

Skalidor:

-Skalidor once made fish cookies for Kai.

-He loves the fish cookies since he first tasted it.

-If Kai gets upset, Skalidor will stop whatever he’s doing and rush over to Kai.

-Skalidor is a great sewer, knitter, and crocheter.

-He made Kai a “few” sweaters and he loves them all.

-Kai even has plushies of the generals that were hand-stitched by Skalidor

-Every time Kai has nightmares, the other generals go to Skalidor.

Acidicus:

-Acidicus helps Kai learn about Serpentine nature and lifestyle.

-Acidicus is Kai’s guide and therapist.

-Acidicus helps Kai get a grip on his serpentine powers.

-Kai gets nervous talking to another serpentine, so Acidicus helps Kai with that.

-Acidicus also teaches Kai how to write and read in serpentine.

-He never knew he liked writing and reading until Acidicus taught him.

-Kai likes to spend time with Acidicus to clear the mind.

Skales:

-Skales was irritated that Kai was left with at first until he found out he had giant issues.

-Skales became protective of Kai ever since the second day.

-He still lets Kai do stuff, but Skales will sometime supervise.

-He’ll attack anyone who insults Kai.

-Skales gives Kai little pep talks and cheers for him when he completed a difficult task.

-Skales found some materials to make Kai a serpentine staff.

-Skales treats Kai like a son.

Fangtom:

-Fangtom doesn’t know how to do this but tries his best.

-He hangs out with Kai the most.

-Fangtom would tell Kai stories about the past and silly moments.

-The two would play games and Kai would watch Fangtom pull pranks.

-He was banned from teaching Kai any pranks.

-Fangtom knows how to cheer Kai up if the other generals aren’t around. It usually ends with Kai falling asleep and the generals wondering what Fangtom did. 

-Fangtom sings soft songs and lullabies for Kai, that’s the method of calming him down. Fangtom can sing, and you can pry that from my cold basement hands.

Snake dads:

-The generals except for Skalidor fight over who Kai’s favorite general is. Skalidor usually tries to break up the fight.

-Kai likes all generals equally.

-They have a family game night every once and a while that is always crazy.

-There was a funny incident that happened.

Skalidor: Kai, you’re forgetting something.

Kai: Yeah, I know, I love you too dads.

Skalidor:

Fangtom:

Skales:

Skales: We meant your lunch-

Kai, grabbing his lunch and rushing out the door: Okay, I have to go now, goodbye.

Skalidor:

Skalidor, crying in tears of joy: He called us dad.

Acidicus: It was going to happen at some point.

Skales:...
