The Rise of Sneaker Culture. An exibihtion at the High Museum of Art which includes 155 sneakers and follows the evolution of sneakers. This exhibit signifies the sneaker culture as a whole. It takes you from the mid nineteenth century to present day and details exactly how the sneaker and its culture came to be. On display you will find everything from Air Jordan's to PF Flyers. Every shoe on display has a description telling you about the shoe and its significance to the culture. In a separate room the film “Just for Kicks” is playing for the audience to watch and get a glimpse into the sneaker world and its impact on the young and old. As a sneaker head I thoroughly enjoyed the exhibit. Check it out at High Museum Of Atlanta From June 11- August 14.
