Snezz had just passed by the corpses of his friends on the gallows, ran, and went back on board of the Chimaera, that’d been docked in Lion’s Arch. His friends... and his lover. Had he not decided to spend the night on the ship, he’d have been hung with them.

All of this felt so unreal to him, he was watching himself board the ship, walk the deck, stand on the prow, looking up in the sky. His breaths came in short intervals, he could hear his own breathing. His neck felt uncomfortably tight. How terrifying must it have been? How horrible and agonizing was it to die like this? Had the fall broken their necks immediately, or did they all slowly get strangled to death? Liamu... she must’ve been scared to... well, death.

Snezz suddenly felt sick, becoming hyper-aware of how quiet it was on the Chimaera. So unnatural, surreal. This deck was usually the noisiest place here, the sound of the machines from below, people arguing, Asha shouting orders... but now, nothing.

Except..

“Snezz, you can’t stay here.” And there he was, Riaff, his old friend and ally, standing behind him. Snezz hadn’t heard him come on board. He turned around, slowly, still breathing heavily, trying to surpress his panic. “The Lionguard knows that you’re part of the crew. You can’t man this ship by yourself, you need to come with us.” Riaff pressed, but the urgency of his voice didn’t reach Snezz. He had to grab his arm and drag him with him to get him moving. Somewhere, underneath all the fear and grief, Snezz registered that Riaff had spoken of ‘us’ not ‘me’, but he didn’t feel the need to ask about that. “My pets.” he managed to say without retching and Riaff nodded. “Of course.” He proceeded to escort him below decks, to his quarters.

“I can’t bear this, Yule.” Variel breathed. “Look at him, he’s completely broken. I.. I want to console him, but...” Yulienni’s ghostly figure shrugged slightly. “Now you know what I felt like watching Riaff turn into an empty husk.” she commented. Her and Variel, the deceased Sylvari, had been tasked with surveying the area and making sure no one could arrest and execute both Riaff and Snezz while they were still in Lion’s Arch.

“Not really.” Variel denied. “You still had the means to contact him, through Emily. She started channeling you just a few weeks after you died. I was helpless for much longer.” “Wasn’t the same.” she muttered. “Poor thing has been through so much. I’d hate to see the same happen to Snezz.” “So? Me neither, but honestly, look at the situation. He has no one left.” “Just us.”

Variel averted her gaze. “Yes, just us.”

7:how they like to dressSnezz values practical clothing a lot, but he also appreciates elegance, trying to combine both is usually a bit difficult. (He settles for white pants, for example, because of the sheer amount of snow leopard hair that gets on them when Mikka decides that she’s a lap kitty again)

13:their embarrassing memory from years agoYoung Snezz had a tendency to go ??? when nervous, so during an oral exam in college, he completely blacked out and couldn’t answer a single question - in front of five examiners and his entire class.This is the type of shit that keeps him up at night.

What if it was a joke? Surely, nobody could sincerely develop feelings for him, right? Must’ve been a joke. …. <— young Snezz.Current Snezz would probably get more nervous about Liamu finding it, terrified of making her jealous or adding difficulty to his relationship. Part of him will still assume it was a cruel joke.
