She took in his posture. The hand upon his chest, the features slightly upturned into a look of shock, the labored breathing. It was a surprise for her too, and the much shorter girl puffed out her cheeks slightly, shaking her head as she looked around the narrow hallway they were standing. Had her rounding the corner with a bag of chips really been that frightening?   “ No way— a ghost? “ “ You don’t mean me right? I’m seriously not even that pale! “ Sungyeon laughed loudly at herself before crunching on a few crisp. “What makes you think ghost could be in this building?”

“yeah a ghost” he nodded and soon brought his hand up; pointing at the female. a chuckle soon left his lips—due to his joke—before lowering his hand and putting both his hands into his pockets. upon hearing the sungyeon’s next question, chanhee turned his head and looked at his surroundings. he wasnt quite sure if the building was haunted—if anything he believes any place can be haunted with how old the planet earth is. “nothing really” he spoke with his eyes still wondering around. “just seeing how old buildings or properties are in general... who knows what happened before new places are built.”

          TEETH CLAMP DOWN ONTO THE STRAW of his iced coffee, the heavy taste of americano lingering upon his taste buds as legs carry him to the end of the queue once again, fingers already delving into his pocket to retrieve his wallet. the shop is relatively busy for a monday, though considering its proximity to the mbc building, it comes as no surprise that more and more patrons are beginning to flow in as the time nears noon. there are already people coming to stand in line behind him, filing into the empty seats, and— oh. his pocket is empty.

not bothering to fret just yet, his hand travels to his other pockets, and then to his jacket. his wallet, almost unsurprisingly, isn’t there either, and he releases his straw to exhale out in brief annoyance. there’s a polite murmur to the person behind him as he steps out of the line, makes his way back over to his previous table. as he approaches, there’s a girl that somehow strikes him as familiar, with no wallet to be found. “uh,” the syllable sheepishly leaves his lips, bowing subtly in greeting. “i sat here just a minute ago, and um,” a raised eyebrow, “you haven’t seen a wallet have you? leather, black?” he highly doubts that she would steal.

chanhee let out a chuckle as he shook his head; physically telling the female in front him that her reaction to what he did was ohkae. he knew that if he had jumped out of a corner to scare her out of no where, she’d jump or at least get startled. however, her letting out a sound from his actions caught him off guard and in result made him laugh. patting her shoulder lightly, he gave sungyeon a smile. “it’s ohkae. sorry for scaring though.”

Was that….legitimate concern she heard on those tenors? Her cheeks flushed at once, feeling some mixture of guilt and embarassment. The young vocalist had to blink a few times to adjust herself enough to look at him- had it really shown? Had she made some mistakes during the weeks broadcast that others would be able to pick out too?   “Of course I’ve slept, I’ve been sleeping!” She lied immediately regretting it once the defensive tone raised into her voice. “ how….stupid would I be not to get enough rest right at debut…”

Soonyoung noticed the sleepy look on the others face. He knew that look, the normal tired eyes, not enough rest due having a debut and non stop stages. Even when the other convinced that she had slept, he didn’t buy it at all but he also didn’t want to bother the other about it too much. The sleepier you are the more annoyed you might get. “As long as you drink lots of water and at least sleep when you can, okay?” He was the type to look after others and get worried easily, he did not want anyone to get sick.
