Wilson’s Journal #4

Snifferdoodle is blind. I’ve tried everything I could think of to disprove this but none of it worked. They always follow the scent and never the visible. I tried covering their nose. The poor thing had no idea what was going on around them. Snifferdoodle is blind and I don’t know whether I can help them. If they seem to have trouble with something because of this I’ll step in, but that’s all I know to do. I wish I could do more.

In other news I have learnt how to demand food in hound. It took a few tries before they figured out I knew roughly what I was saying. The affection, while appreciated, was suffocating. I got fed of course but it took a few hours for me to be neat (relatively) and dry after. The other puppies seem to be following my lead. Is this what being an older sibling is like? No wonder my brothers always babied me, they wanted me to follow them. I feel bad about some of the things I said to them. Thankfully, since this is a litter, there is no youngest and therefore no one to single out and baby.
